Fellsmere is also home of the "Fellsmere
Frog Leg Festival," which is the third week of January. It starts on
Thursday and ends on Sunday. There are carnival rides, arts and
crafts, a history of Fellsmere booth, and of course, frog leg dinners.
In 2001, the festival broke the Guinness Book of World Records, for
selling the most frog leg dinners in one day. After the parade
there is music, auctions, arts and crafts and lots of food. "Fellsmere
Day" is usually the third Saturday of February, but can be the fourth
Saturday (we have to work with the Sebastian River Band for the
parade).

The Fellsmere Riding Club has a rodeo
with bull riding and lots of other rodeo activities. This is usually
the first weekend in March. |
